If you are planning a trip to Florida with the kids you won’t want to miss the many delights that Disney World has to offer. Everyone knows and loves the magic of Disney and the many famous cartoon characters that most children have grown up with.
But if you are going to plan a holiday in the area it’s a good idea to do your homework in advance. The park is so big and awe inspiring that if you don’t have a good idea of where to go in advance, you might miss out on some of the best sights.
If you have young children then the Magic Kingdom should be your first destination. Even though the magic of Disney tends to affect people of all ages, (even adults!) the Magic Kingdom is one of the best places for everyone to enjoy a great day out.
The best idea is to pre-book your tickets and make sure you get a map to the park online before you get there. This way, you can mark off the particular attractions and areas you want to visit while at Disney.
When you arrive might want to take a trip on the Disney Railroad, which runs right round the outside of the park and gives you a great view of all the rides and attractions you can enjoy during your visit. Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain and the Toontown Fair are just some of the sights you’ll see.
Fantasyland is one of the more popular destinations in the Magic Kingdom and is home to the world famous Cinderella Castle, which has to be seen to be believed. Many people head straight for this when they enter the park as it has long been a symbol of Walt Disney and everything the company stands for.
But if you’re after more of a thrill there are some great rides to jump on too. Perhaps the most famous one is the Thunder Mountain Railroad, which is a rather more hair-raising ride than the railroad you’ll get on at the entrance to the park!
There is also the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, the incredible ride that is Space Mountain, and many more besides.
Walt Disney World Resort Holidays are designed to appeal to the whole family, though there is no doubting that kids really lap up the experience and remember it for a lifetime. If you stay in one of the hotels in a Disney resort you will also be right up close to the best that Disney has to offer, and you won’t need to worry about travelling for miles to get to the park.
People of all ages love Disney, and a trip to the Magic Kingdom is the best way to make the very best of it.
